Birds of a feather

This season’s bag trends can be characterized by a number of signature features. Two of them can be seen in Furla’s Fall/Winter 2020 collection: monograms interpreted in the form of new hummingbird prints and new top handle bags with an elegant touch of the arch logo.

The new collection draws inspiration from the hummingbird, whose plumage informs the season’s palette, including cherry red, purple flamingo, ocean blue, gold and ruthenium.

The arch-shaped logo is not only represented on the metal clasp of the Furla 1927 bags, but also a decorative element alongside a hummingbird print that can be seen on shoulder bags such as the mini crossbody and the mini vertical crossbody.

The tropical bird is also featured on accessories like keyrings and case charms. It also makes an appearance on the patchwork version of the brand’s iconic Metropolis mini crossbody, another highlight of the launch.

Other than the big shoulder bags, handbags, practical totes and hobo bags, it’s worth noting that the collection also features a wealth of small leather goods, such as the Babylon AirPod and lipstick case charms and the Icona 1927 keyrings with a floral print.
