It’s that time of the year again for us to ply the No 1 ladies in our lives with all our sweetest wishes.

At the Four Seasons Hotel, the Japanese-themed Shinsei afternoon tea set (from HK$344) inspired by the superfoods green tea, rice and red algae will help ladies glow from inside out – a self-care event best suited for a mom-and-daughter date.

By chef Ringo Chan, the decadent tea set showcasing Kyoto craftsmanship includes soft akita rice and sakura jelly, uji green tea and azuki bean cakes and Okinawa sea salt caramel chocolate creme, as well as biscuits and signature items from the pastry team.

Available throughout May, the set is a collaboration with Tatcha to mark the launch of The Dewy Serum. Guests will receive a Dewy Skin Discovery Kit when they order the tea set.

Available until May 9, orders must be made three days in advance.

Petite but perfectly formed, the season-limited Sweet Spring gift set (HK$388) features a chocolate quartet of two heart-shaped ruby chocolate bonbons – a caramel sea salt praline and classic milk chocolate truffle. Also in the set is a tin of rose black tea that is sure to bring to mind the sweet taste of spring.

Taking purple flowers as a motif symbolizing motherhood, Lucullus’ sweet treats will make your gift shopping a breeze without sacrificing quality. The Violet Whisper raspberry and strawberry mousse cake (HK$358) is adorned with mini purple macarons, fresh blueberries and edible petals, finished by a chocolate mirror glaze wrapped over layers of sponge cake, berries mousse and puree.
