Come summertime, beaches turn into runways of sorts. Drawing attention this season are special capsule collections and colorful prints.
Jimmy Choo has moved away from footwear to launch its first swimwear capsule collection containing one-piece swimsuits and bikinis, as well as accessories such as tote bags, beach towels, flats and hats.
Crafted entirely from sustainable and recycled nylon, the capsule is in bright hues bathed in the JC monogram print, mimicking a romantic sunset.
Dioriviera’s capsule collection is also extensive, including swimwear, hooded ponchos, tote bags and sandals, and showcases the Toile de Jouy Reverse motif and signature Dior Oblique print paired with eye-catching raspberry and lime colors.
Other big names are also presenting bold prints. Of note is Versace, which continues the Tresor de la Mer print from its Spring Summer 2021 Ready to Wear collection. With starfish and shells on a baby pink or blue backdrop, the swimwear is a touch of glamor for the beach or the pool.
Dolce & Gabbana’s DJ Khaled capsule collection also releases beachwear and accessories, emphasizing the brand’s Sicilian roots through prints of lush nature and animals and bringing a lively and joyful summer vibe.
Accessories that also make a statement are the Hermes Les Trophees de Plage beach towel, finished with prints designed by illustrator Pierre Marie. The Dior CD Link S1U sunglasses are completed with a blue fabric cord perfect for beach sports.
